The cottage had a lovely kitchen and eating area, as well as comfortable bedrooms. the location was also great for exploring the nearby wineries and attractions in the area. Plus, being close to the river made it easy to take a refreshing swim.

The cottage turned out to be smaller than we expected and felt a bit stuffy due to the lack of airflow. it was a bit tricky to find the cottage as there was no signage out front, and the photos online were a bit misleading.

We got great value for our money at Quinta De Reciao in Lamego. The room was cozy and comfortable, with the most comfortable mattresses we've ever slept on. The location was peaceful, right by the river and surrounded by nature. The staff at the hotel, including Paulina, Celina, Maria, and the whole family, were incredibly welcoming and created a fantastic experience for us. The bread from the breakfast was divine and we enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting at the wine museum. it was a unique and memorable stay.
